The new Rigol DSA 832E and DSA832E-TG (Tracking Generator) Portable Spectrum Analyser covers the frequency range of 9 kHz to 3.2GHz with a resolution bandwidth of 10Hz and an 8 Inch Color Screen. You’ll love the performance and your CFO will love the cost.

The Rigol DSA832E series replaces the Rigol DSA 1000 series with a more reliable and higher performance solution. This particular model can be used for several applications including R&D, wireless testing, production, debugging & more but it is specifically geared towards offering an inexpensive solution for EMI/EMC Pre-compliance testing. Optional accessories for EMC Pre-compliance include EMI S1210 Software, Near Field Probes, EMI-Quasi Peak Detector and VSWR Bridge. 

The Rigol Spectrum Analysers all offer digital IF design enabling smaller bandwidth settings thus significantly reducing the displayed average noise level. Engineers can easily distinguish signals with a frequency difference of only 10Hz with the Rigol DSA 832E and Rigol DSA 832E-TG spectrum analyzer. Eliminate errors generated by filter switching, reference level uncertainty and scale distortion with the high precision amplitude readings of the units. Sometimes when using the traditional analogue IF design errors are created from the procedure of switching between logarithmic and linear displays of amplitude this is eliminated with the digital IF design of the Rigol spectrum analyzers.

Rigol NFP-3 Near Field Probes:

The Rigol NFP-3 Near Field Probes can be used in conjunction with any spectrum analyzer to help identify sources of EMI as well as leaks in enclosures. They are electrically insulated to prevent shorting of live circuits and feature a thin profile to make it easier to probe daughter boards, standoffs, and other tight spaces in your design. The kit includes 4 magnetic (H) field probes, cable, and BNC-to-N-Type adapter.



Rigol S1210 EMI Software:

The Rigol S1210 Software enables engineers to control, record, automate, and report on their EMI tests. It directly controls the DSA800 Spectrum Analyzers and includes correction factors for other antennas, PreAmplifiers, LISNs, Attenuators, Cables, and more. Test vs. imported or custom created limit lines in real time. Automate tests with separate pre scan and final scan settings and cycle through a complete test plan if needed. This level of repeatability and reporting brings new value to Pre-Compliance measurements. Finding EMI issues sooner in the design process saves time and money in product development.


Rigol EMI-DSA800 Quasi Peak Option:

The Rigol EMI-DSA800 Quasi Peak Option is a software option that can be added to an instrument at any time. EMI enables the Quasi-Peak detector and enables users to select additional RBW settings for EMI work. This option brings your Pre-Compliance measurements closer to the results from a compliance lab.
