The Svantek SVAN 971 is a versatile Class 1 (IEC 61672) sound level meter excellent for Industrial Noise Measurements, environmental noise short term applications, acoustic consulting and engineers who are dealing with issues of noise and general acoustics. If you are unsure if the  Svantek 971 would be suitable for your application please contact us. We will be happy to help.

The Svantek SVAN 971  fits easily in one hand and offers an easy to use , simple user interface. In addition, results are stored on an SD card and can easily be viewed on a PC with the Svan PC++ software and supervisor software. The supervisor software is a fantastic tool for creating reports, graphs and various other information required. The screen shots above are screen shots from the Svan PC++ Software and Supervisor Software. More information can be found under the documents tab.  An example of using the SVAN PC++ measurements can also be found under the video tab.

For those customers who require 1/1 or 1/3 Octave Analysis for the Sound Level Meter this can be added to the unit at an additional cost along with Audio Events Recording.   Audio Events recording allows the customer to set triggers while offering complete logging functionality. In addition, voice annotations can be taken with the unit.

The instrument can be easily calibrated in the field using an acoustic calibrator. Insertion of the microphone into a calibrator automatically activates the calibration process and the calibration history is automatically logged.
